Crisis in Ukraine – how can you help?
- PRAY FOR UKRAINE
- DONATE FOR RELIEF - KidCare filled and shipped two 40,000 lb containers to help Ukrainian refugees and families in distress. Donations to KidCare.org will help fill, ship, and distribute relief supplies to help people in need. We are currently collecting supplies to send to Ukraine on the next shipment. - REFER CONNECTIONS FOR SUPPLIES IN BULK - If you have connections for companies to donate palettes of bulk, new supplies to be added to our container for Ukrainian refugees, contact Sasha Pirrie by email to sasha_pirrie@yahoo.com. Bulk items must be new, on palettes with tags attached.
Bringing Hope to Children Since 1991
The Mission of KidCare International, a relationship-based, humanitarian-aid organization is to equip and empower desperately disadvantaged children to lead lives of purpose, service, and leadership through sustainable programs and strategic partnerships.
KidCare Food Bank is located at 1200 N. Campus Ave. in Upland. The KidCare Food Bank feeds more than 9,000 hungry people each year. Through its partnerships and alliances, KidCare supplies food for families in crisis.
Food distribution is done every Saturday morning except holidays. Pre-trained volunteers arrive at 8 am. The line starts forming at 9 am. Need ID for Riverside or San Bernardino County, must be 17 or over to receive food. Register when you get there.
For more information or to volunteer, leave a message on this phone line, to Food Bank Coordinator Sylvia, (909) 227-5037.
We are pleased to announce that the Inaugural KIDCARE INTERNATIONAL 5K RUN/WALK at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas on April 23, 2022 was a great success!
COMING THIS FALL - Annual KidPak Drive in November: at Granite Creek Community Church in Claremont.
Fill a KidPak with items such as hygiene supplies, school supplies, socks, a sweatshirt, books, and toys for a vulnerable grade-school child in our community. The pandemic has been especially hard on our most needy children in our community and the KidPaks are a wonderful affirmation that they are cherished and important.
Just pick up an empty backpack at Granite Creek Community Church in Claremont, we’ll have them out beginning in November. We’ll collect the backpacks on Sundays in November. Donate $5 to cover the cost of the backpack.
These KidCare KidPaks will be given out to local children in need. Choose to help as a family, or organize your business or group to help!
The vision of KidCare International is to bring hope into the lives
of perilously impoverished children by providing humanitarian aid,
sending teams of volunteers to educate and encourage, joining with
indigenous people to build and repair, and linking them with people and
organizations of resources who desire to “make a difference” in the
lives of the world’s poorest children.
Together, we believe we can reverse the effects of poverty and hunger on children. This vision in action has brought new life and hope to thousands of children internationally.
KidCare has been involved in relief work in Ukraine, Africa, Mexico, Haiti, Russia, India, Romania, Albania, Columbia, Yugoslavia, Kosovo and locally in Southern California.
